Our mission is to develop a Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system to provide for constant monitoring of glucose levels for diabetic individuals, around the clock.Through uninterrupted monitoring, diabetic patients can ensure maintenance of physiological blood sugar levels thereby pre-empting hypoglycemic eventualities which cause long-term complications. The CGM device will display current levels of blood glucose in near real-time and alerts to the diabetic before a high-risk situation arises due to extreme variations in their blood glucose. This device will also allow the diabetic to keep a complete log of blood glucose data which can be used to better identify the causes and timings of hypoglycemic excursions. The CGM device will also help monitor high-risk groups with mission critical occupations as well as the healthy population to prevent the onset of diabetes via 24/7 monitoring.
