Individuals with Diabetes will wear these CGM devices on their bodies (mostly upper arm, stomach, or lower back). In order to complete the closed-loop system, Byonyks will provide an Insulin Pumping System where the pump is attached on the individual’s stomach and the rest of the device is conveniently placed in their pockets. Together, both the devices provide complete control on the quantity of food to be consumed as well as the amount of physical exercise. The CGM transmits blood sugar levels to the smartphone app for display and storage on the cloud. In case the CGM system indicates that the patient has exited the physiological levels of blood glucose, the insulin pumping system will inject the exact quantity of insulin required to restore the normal sugar level.
